About the Shipping Protection
If not selected at checkout, Big & Little Dogs is not responsible for damaged, stolen or lost items during transit & delivery.

By purchasing Shipping Protection for an additional $2.95, you will receive coverage for your order against theft, loss, or damage during transit. The following terms and conditions apply:

Protection Scope

  • Shipping Protection covers the value of the items in your order, against theft, loss, or damage during delivery.
  • Protection begins from the moment your order is dispatched and ends upon confirmed delivery to the address provided at checkout.

Eligibility and Claims

  • Shipping Protection must be added to your order at the time of checkout.
  • In the event of theft, loss, or damage, claims must be submitted within 14 days of the expected delivery date or upon receipt of the damaged order.
  • Evidence, such as photos of damaged items or official confirmation of loss/non-delivery from the courier will be required to process your claim.

Resolution

  • Approved protection claims will be resolved by either:
    • Resending your original order at no additional cost, or
    • Issuing a full refund
  • Resolutions will be processed within 48 hours following claim approval.

Exclusions

  • Shipping Protection does not cover incorrect addresses provided at checkout,
  • Shipping Protection does not cover refused deliveries
  • Claims for minor cosmetic damage that does not affect the product’s functionality may not qualify (see our Returns & Refunds Policy for information about faulty products)
  • Orders returned to sender are not covered
  • If not selected at checkout, Big & Little Dogs is not responsible for damaged, stolen or lost items during transit & delivery.

Customer Responsibility

  • Customers must ensure accurate shipping information at checkout is provided.
  • Any claims filed outside the specified timeframe may not be processed.

Shipping

Orders over $150 qualify for FREE SHIPPING!

For orders under $150 we offer a flat-rate standard shipping option for both Australia & International:

Australian orders: $9.95

International orders: $16.95

Express options are calculated at checkout.

WE AIM TO PROCESS AND SHIP ALL ORDERS WITHIN 24-72 BUSINESS HOURS OF BEING PLACED.

Please note that in busy periods (such as sale or holiday periods) dispatch of orders may take longer than the above time frames and we appreciate your understanding of this.

For Pick Up & Local Delivery orders, we aim to process and have these ready for collection/delivery within 24 business hours.

FOR SHIPPED AND PICK UP ORDERS: Please note that if you have ordered something that is personalised or made-to-order, additional processing times as per the items description will apply.

Please ensure that you double check the address on your order, as any parcels marked "Returned to Sender" due to an incorrect mailing address or missed delivery will be mailed again at the expense of the buyer. 

Refunds

We understand that there may come a time where you need to return a purchase and we want to make the returns process as simple and easy as possible for you. 

If you have changed your mind about your purchase or purchased the incorrect size or item, we will be pleased to offer you a refund or store credit (or exchange as per trial details below) provided that:

1. The item(s) is not marked FINAL SALE (these items are non-returnable - no exceptions), is not a gift card, not a Pet Bed, Toy or Treat and is not a personalised item

2. You return the item(s) within 30 days of your order being delivered (our returns policy is valid for 30 days from the date your order was delivered as per the shipment tracking - after this time has passed we are unable to accept returns)

3. Your item(s) must be unused, unworn, unwashed and in the same condition that you received it (We recommend that you carefully try new items on indoors, just in case you need to return them)

4. All packaging, swing tags and care tags must still be attached to items to be eligible for a refund. Any items returned without packaging or tags, will not be refunded. You will receive an email to advise of this, at which time we can organise to return the items to you at your cost.

5. If you purchased an item as part of a "Buy one, Get One" (e.g. buy a harness and get a leash free etc..) all products must be returned

6. If you purchased an embroidered item (e.g. dog hoodie harness with added embroidery), you will be charged a restocking fee of $4.95 - this will be deducted from your total refund amount prior to the refund being processed. Note that any personalised embroidered items are non-returnable/non-refundable as they cannot be restocked (e.g. "Follow Me @yourinstagramhandle embroidery, Dog's name on Breed Crews)

7. Personalised items are FINAL SALE and non-returnable/non-refundable as they cannot be restocked

We offer exchanges on items for the same product in a different size (this option will appear on the Returns Portal if available for your order). Note that handling costs will be charged when you process the return for an exchange through the portal.

We do not currently offer exchanges for other products (only size swaps as per above).
